Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical

Music by Frank Wildhorn, book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse

Directed by Susan Herrick

Auditions will be on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26 at 6:30pm, at the theatre (711 Story Street in Boone). Audition on either of those dates, or both if you like. We will likely have callbacks on August 27.

Preparation Information:

Auditioners will need to prepare a song that shows their range and strength of voice and be prepared to do cold readings from the script.

We are looking for around 18 men and women. There are no juvenile parts in this show. We are also looking for a stage manager, costumers, and light and sound techs.

Note: Any male interested in the role of Jekyl/Hyde should prepare the song "Confrontation" from the musical for the audition.

Auditions will be on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2 at 6:30pm, at the theatre (711 Story Street in Boone). Audition on either of those dates, or both if you like. This show is fast-paced and extremely funny. We plan to have a lot of fun rehearsing and performing it, and share that fun with our audiences.

Preparation Information:

Auditioners will be reading sections from the script, to be published on this page as we come closer to the audition date. Auditioners can also prepare a short monologue to demonstrate their abilities beyond a cold read.

There are parts for five men and five women. List of character descriptions We are also looking for backstage roles (set, sound, costumes, etc.)
